If you are someone like me me who grew up in the 90s and early 2000s Sportscenter was everything. You watch it on repeat to see the highlights and score...Just straight highlights for an hour... You also had personalities like Stuart Scott, Rich Eisen, Chris Berman, and Linda Cohn. Now by habit still if I see SportsCenter on, and now instead of every game being shown you get a handful and then talk about LeBron or the Cowboys...I get it times are different now and you can go on your phone for everything....But is it so hard to ask for wall to wall highlights and not an extend version of first take which is what ESPN has turned into.

The world cup today has a third place game between England and France .....Once again not a soccer guy so I don't know if the top players Harry Kane and Mbappe are playing...While I can see why they wouldn't both these country's should make a side bet ( See yesterdays Blog)...So this had me thinking what if they other sports did this.... What if they had a third place game? Like in the NFL the week before the super bowl you did Broncs Rams...You play for the better draft pick and a bonus for the players..(Again it would defiantly be third stringers playing.) Or in MLB last year we had the Brewers Mariners play a best of 3 before the world series.....Again I know this will never happen but I love sports and always want more sports..

Everyone talking basketball does one thing and one thing every time....They say he is a top 10 player all time but then you talk about 15 other guys they say they are a top 10 player....So this is what I do...A few years ago when they made the 76 greatest players ever list I made my own and I have kept editing it since and update it ... I will keep doing that with this post as well so as of July 2026 here is my top 76....It was 75 but i added one player this year so i made it 76....76  greatest NBA players ever

Tomorrow France and England play in the World Cups third place game...Yes we are having a game for 3rd tomorrow people ... Now I don't know if Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé are playing...I would think not as they probably are still frustrated .. Now  there is something called a Mayors bet where Mayors bet on stuff like the other wearing jerseys on the loosing teams...With these two Country's that are 20 miles apart playing we need something good. Maybe loosing team has the best player become a citizen for the other and play with them in the next Euros....Put on the line Big Ben vs the Eifel tower... We need something with stakes here for this third place game....

Let me start this by saying...I am not a fan of LeBron I am a Bulls fan that has had to deal with LeBron for years. On the court by always eliminating them or off the court with legacy stuff with Jordan...That being said with him waiting to pick a team (Which he probably knows already but is gonna drag this one out because he loves the attention.) I feel like the move for  him is not to go home with the Cavs which would be a full circle moment. Or to play with Steph and the Warriors which to see two of the top 15 guys of all time play together would be cool it just wont make sense with the fact of all the battles he has had with that franchise. To me the pick is Philly. He fits in perfectly with what they need. He does not have to carry the load every night some nights he could be the 5th option. When healthy that's as good as a starting 5 as their is... Also have them against the knicks in the Eastern Playoffs  is what the NBA would love to have going into next year. LeBron going for ring 5 while going against a knicks team that is trying to repeat. As the kids say cinema.. (Side note...if you think LeBron was really gonna go play with the Knicks like he said is the biggest lie....He was never gonna go the knicks weather or not they won.)  

Ok before I start this I will say again...Not a soccer guy and will never claim to be one but I have eyeballs and I can see it and say it..Messi is the soccer GOAT...Renaldo sorry buddy...Now lets talk GOATS....IF Messi wins Sunday at 3pm in METLIFE (this is where you go and read my blog about how the game should not be on at 3) but anyway..... Where does he rank all time in GOATs....With names like Jordan (this is a MJ is the GOAT backer blog site), Brady, Gretzky, Bonds, Ali, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Jon Jones, Joey Chestnut, and Secretariat. Now if you ask me my top 3 are MJ, Brady, and Gretzky as the top 3... Now if Messi wins me not being a soccer guy I will say this...winning back to back world cups at this stage in his career at this age and playing at that level will be super impressive...That all being said....He wont pass those top 3 for me and my 4th in Stone Cold Steve Austin... 

For sports fans these are some of the worst nights of the year. Dead of summer and not one thing to watch sports wise is on. Now yes its summer and there is a million things to do and yes some people have families. (As do I as I am typing this) But for some of you that love sports and need something to watch I am going to give you games from each sport to watch....I will also be picking games that do not involve teams I love and root for...( Although watching Michigan beat Ohio State is always a great time. I also wont be  saying a lot for each game for the fact of you want to be watching these games not read about it from me.
